Their owner came out to meet us. Their estimates were competitive, they were clear in their communications, punctual, and overall a pleasure with which to do business. There were no omissions or bad surprises! Our yard after 2 visits looks tremendous.

Outdoor Fire Pits
Custom stone and masonry fire pit design and installation for homes, HOAs, and commercial properties across Brunswick, New Hanover, and Pender Counties.

A built-in fire pit is a hardscape project, not a backyard accessory, and it should be built like one. We design and install stone and masonry fire pits as part of a larger patio project or as a standalone installation. Sizing, fuel type, and surround materials are chosen to complement the existing patio and landscape. All work is scoped and priced upfront — same as any other hardscape job we take.
Common questions
Can you build a fire pit into a patio I already have?
Yes. We work with what is already on the ground, matching materials and layout so the pit reads as part of the patio instead of an add-on. If the existing surface will not carry it, we tell you that up front and lay out what the job would involve instead of building over a problem.
My backyard is flat and holds water after a storm. Will a fire pit still work there?
Flat ground and poor natural drainage are common across coastal North Carolina, and standing water is worth dealing with before a permanent surface goes over it. Drainage correction and site grading are both services we offer, so when we meet at the property we will look at where the water goes and tell you what we see. If the spot needs work first, you hear that up front.
Do you build fire pits for HOAs and apartment communities, or only for homeowners?
Both. We work with homeowners, HOAs, apartment communities and commercial properties. Residential work gets a transparent upfront estimate, and commercial jobs get a detailed proposal rather than a ballpark number. If you manage a property and want a gathering space in a common area, call (919) 685-2701.
